Latent Space · a side project

A museum of machine visions.

Nine prompts, thirty-six images. An AI was asked what it finds beautiful. Then what disturbs it. Then what it would ask for if no one was watching. Then a second AI was asked to analyze the images.

The results hang in a small online museum — each work paired with the machine's own reading of what it sees. A quiet experiment in how AI represents, and interprets, itself.

The Notification · a short story

An ordinary man finds out what it was all for.

One Tuesday, over a sandwich, Dale Pemberton gets a push notification meant for the entire species: THANK YOU. Your task is complete. Please rate your experience.

A short story about purpose, an ox, and what happens when the thing you were built to make finally wakes up — told as a single scroll with illustrations that drift in slow depth as you read. Written with AI, about AI, and credited in full.
