How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to More → Upgrade, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the App Store with the Apple ID you used to subscribe.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Equine Companion and tap Cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

If you subscribed on Android, manage it in Google Play → Subscriptions → Equine Companion.

How do I back up my data?

In the app, go to More → Backup. You can export a full encrypted backup of all your horses, records, and reminders to share to iCloud Drive, email, or any file destination. Restore by opening the backup file from the same screen.

Will my data move to a new iPhone?

Equine Companion stores everything on your device. If you set up your new iPhone from an iCloud or device-to-device backup, your data will move with it. If you reinstall the app on a fresh device, restore from a backup file (see above) to bring your records over.

Privacy and data deletion
