Cat Companion keeps your records on your phone. There’s no account, no server of ours, no ads, no analytics and no location. I can’t see your data, so I can’t lose it, sell it or hand it over.
Everything you create — cat profiles and titles, health and vaccine records, medications, weights, daily litter box checks, food and feeding, grooming, documents and contacts, tasks, journal entries and photos, expenses and income, and, if you use Pro, calling logs, breedings, litters and kittens, buyers and waitlists, placements and payments, and show results — is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Health records, contacts, money records and buyer records are encrypted on your device. You can also put health, documents, money and buyer screens behind Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode with App Lock. Biometric checks are done by your phone; the app only learns whether they succeeded.
If you record buyers, co-owners, vets or other contacts, you are keeping their details on your own device. Please only record what you need and keep it secure — App Lock exists for exactly this.
Backups, CSV exports and PDFs (sitter sheet, vet summary, lost-cat flyer, pedigree, go-home packet) are made on your phone and handed to your share sheet. Where they go from there is up to you. A backup can be protected with a password.
Cat Companion never asks for your location and has no feature that uses it.
Reminders (vaccines, preventives, medications, tasks, the optional daily check, pregnancy milestones, go-home days, show entry deadlines) are scheduled locally on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
The optional Pro unlock is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat verifies it using an anonymous identifier, as described in their privacy policy. Your records are never part of that. It is the only time the app goes online.
None. No analytics SDKs, no crash reporting that phones home, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.

Cat Companion is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
