By downloading or using Cat Companion, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Cat Companion is a record-keeping tool for cat owners, breeders and exhibitors. You agree not to use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates the rights of others, including the privacy of people whose details you record.
Cat Companion is free, with complete records for every cat, including the daily litter box check. An optional Pro unlock adds breeding tools (breedings, the pregnancy timeline and blood type check, queening, litters and kittens), buyers and placements, the go-home packet and pedigree PDFs, CFA and TICA show tracking and title progress, and income and litter profit & loss.
Pro is a single one-time, non-consumable purchase through the App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms. There is no subscription and nothing renews. You can restore it on your other devices, and Family Sharing is supported where the store offers it.
Cat Companion records and organizes information; it does not give veterinary, legal or professional advice. Daily check cards, due dates, blood type warnings, kitten weight alerts, reminders and knowledge base articles are general aids — always follow your veterinarian, and call them straight away in an emergency. The app does not write contracts or give legal advice about sales or co-ownership. Title progress is a helper, not an official record; CFA, TICA or your registry’s own records are what count.
Your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups of important records (Settings → Backup). We are not liable for data loss from device failure, app deletion or software updates.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cat Companion and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
