Data Deletion

Dog Companion stores all of your records on your device. There is no account and no server holding your data. Deleting the app permanently removes it.

How to delete your data

Long-press the Dog Companion app icon
Tap Uninstall (Android) or Remove App → Delete App (iOS)
Confirm

This immediately and permanently removes everything the app stored, including encrypted records and their keys. There is no copy on our end, so it cannot be undone. Any backup, CSV or PDF files you saved elsewhere are yours to delete separately.

What is deleted

Dog profiles, titles and photos
Health, vaccine, preventive and medication records, weights and clearances
Documents and contacts
Food, feeding, grooming and activity records
Tasks, journal entries and the gallery
Expenses and income
Heats, progesterone, breedings, litters and puppies
Buyers, waitlists, placements and payments
Shows and show entries
Settings, including your kennel profile and App Lock choices

Location

If you turned on the walk-conditions card, approximate coordinates were sent to Open-Meteo to fetch a forecast. Nothing is stored by us. Turn the card off in Settings, or revoke location in your device settings, at any time.

Pro purchase

The Pro unlock is handled by the App Store or Google Play, with verification through RevenueCat under an anonymous identifier, not your name or email. To ask for that purchase record to be deleted, email us — note it may stop Pro restoring on a new device.
