By downloading or using Goat Companion, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Goat Companion is a personal herd management tool for goat keepers. You may use it to track goats, health and breeding records, milk production, feed and inventory, fiber and shearing records, finances, tasks, and notes.
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates the rights of others.
Goat Companion is free to use, with a complete core set of features. It also offers an optional Pro unlock that adds profit & loss reports, unlimited breeding and kidding records, full medication and withdrawal tracking, fiber and shearing records, and priority support.
Pro is a single one-time, non-consumable purchase billed through the App Store or Google Play and subject to their respective terms. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews — once you unlock Pro it remains yours for as long as the app is available, with no further charges. Your purchase can be restored on your other devices, and Family Sharing is supported where the store offers it.
Goat Companion is a record-keeping tool only. Nothing in this app constitutes veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian or qualified professional for health and husbandry decisions about your herd, including medication dosing and withdrawal periods.
All data you enter is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important records — the app’s built-in backup feature can help with this. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or software updates.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goat Companion and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
